In Arabic, "Dhahab" translates to "gold," perfectly capturing the essence of the fragrance by Al Haramain. It exudes luxury, warmth, and richness, reminiscent of a delightful crème brûlée. While this dessert may not be rooted in Arabic traditions, its delicate, crispy caramel crust concealing a velvety vanilla cream mirrors the allure of this oil-based perfume. To balance the sweetness of this aromatic treat, a hint of lemon zest is added, offering a subtle tang. Each breath of this fragrance reveals an incredible harmony that delights and warms the soul, simply by touching your skin. The composition is immensely captivating, and its appetizing notes are the perfect companion for cold days and evenings.
The fragrance opens with sunny orange and sparkling bergamot, creating a bright and fresh introduction.
This is followed by a magical heart, centered around deep, rich caramel that shines like molten gold. The warmth of cedar adds a woody structure and a hint of spice, balancing the sweetness.
In the base, a vanilla accord envelops all elements in a soft, creamy trail, enhancing the composition's richness and longevity. Combined with white musk, it provides the fragrance with a smooth, gentle, and slightly enticing finish that lingers on the skin.
The product is of excellent quality and fully corresponds to the photo and description. The scent is vanilla-caramel, sweet but not overly so, more pleasantly delicious. I cannot detect any other claimed notes, although my daughter says they are there. It doesn't have a lasting trail. On my skin, it lasts up to 2 hours (I can't smell it anymore), and on paper, it lasts up to 5 hours. The bottle is very simple, with a rollerball applicator instead of a glass stick like in expensive niche fragrances (well, the price corresponds - I bought it for 276 UAH). It was well packaged. I ordered it from the EU, and it arrived in 7 days (5 days in the EU and 2 days in Ukraine).
Sweet caramel with vanilla, balanced with a hint of citrus bitterness and the refreshing essence of cedar. In comparison to Moatar Dahab and Golden Dust, it is less sweet.
