Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods, so try a few and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Upon insertion, the cup should open with a noticeable suction or popping sound, indicating it is properly in place. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction has been established and the cup is correctly positioned!
