Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap. Fold the cup; there are different folding methods, so you can try various ones to find which works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Upon proper placement, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If in doubt, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when inserted properly. If you detect dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a proper seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction seal is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
