What was the catalyst for Cleopatra's effortless seduction of Caesar? How did Jean-Baptiste Grenouille manage to silently convince hundreds not to execute him at the moment of truth? What gave Mata Hari such influence over ministers and generals? Perhaps it's all about a magical potion. This olfactory persuasion inspired the creators of the Initio brand to craft unique fragrances that can dramatically alter the moods of those around you. Initio perfumes are contemporary potions that, like pheromones, enchant and allure, awaken emotions, and bestow power and authority. You, too, have the chance to become a leader! The brand's two most renowned collections are Black Gold and The Hedonist. This is a clash of darkness and light, passion and innocence, audacity and restraint… The Initio Parfums Oud For Greatness fragrance from the Black Gold collection unveils the full beauty of oud, with its intoxicating, smoky, and balsamic play.
Top Notes – A tart, herbal, and oriental-spicy motif expressed through lavender, nutmeg, and saffron.
Middle Notes create a bright, rich, and intense focal point on oud. A balsamic-woody hue with a subtle smoky trail… Be inspired.
Base Notes of musk and patchouli weave the foundation for the oud's resonance, adding even more creamy sweetness, leathery smokiness, and woody balsamic depth.
So, it's a bit monotonous, that's true. Yes, maybe it's a "beginner's niche" (as if that's something bad). I don't care if it's real oud (the manufacturer claims it is) or synthetic (I've heard many such opinions). Whether it's a combination of both, one thing is important: either you like it or you don't. I liked the perfume. Does it justify its price? I believe so. Let's leave that question for discussions. Is it versatile? No. It's not for everyday use. However, it is beautiful. It warms, envelops, it's long-lasting, with a trail. I can feel all the notes that were mentioned. Sweet-nutty, like dry oud (or simply woody-leathery accord), emphasized by lavender, spices, and a note of "burnt sugar." And saffron is not redundant here, it doesn't create the "smoky room" effect like in bakhoor or Arabian oud. Unisex, perhaps slightly leaning towards the masculine side, but not critically. It's truly a great perfume. The luxurious bottle corresponds to the content.
Thank you for the fast delivery. The fragrance is long-lasting and 100% original. Thank you, makeup.
Worthy, effortless both in scent and longevity.
Great fragrance! Long-lasting and has a strong projection.
I have been waiting and searching for a long time. And then, oh miracle, it's available. And it's even the original product. The quality of the box, the weight of the bottle, the weight of the cap, everything is authentic. The scent is unbelievably amazing. For me, it's the masculine version of Baccarat Rouge 540. Heavier, darker, and mystical. Just a couple of sprays and it doesn't fade away from the skin even after two showers. The sillage is fantastic. Thank you, makeup.
