Winter Palace is a bright fragrance whose complex scent profile will make you feel like everything around you is spinning. This is what usually happens once you sniff it. Released in 2019, this fougère fragrance has an air of mystery enveloping each of its notes. It is reminiscent of the Orient, with its Buddhist temples and the maze of winding, bustling streets. As you walk along them on a chilly winter day, all you need is a hot lemon tea with a hint of mint and spices to get you back on your knees. But you can find a perfume bottle instead, which turns out to be sufficient for your salvation. It is exactly the scent you were looking for. This is the essence of Memo Winter Palace Eau de Parfum - the struggle between ice and fire. Besides, it also doesn't hurt that the bottle is so beautiful. The image of a dragon surely catches the eye and makes you want to instantly spray the fragrance on your wrist. From that moment on, your exciting journey through time begins…
The olfactory pyramid of Memo Winter Palace:
Top notes open with the invigorating citrus burst of orange, grapefruit, bergamot and lemon, with the rest adding a touch of depth and sensuality to complete this extraordinary fragrance.
Heart notes are composed of Tuberose and Iris that gently fuse with each other to create an aura that is nothing short of magical.
Base notes are beautifully grounded with the warm base of sandalwood, cedar and musk.
I had been considering buying a full-size bottle for about four years. I decided to start with a sample first, and then got another one. The scent stayed in my mind, it was very unusual - it both cooled and warmed, reminding me a bit of Vietnamese herbal ointments for rubbing (like "zvezdochka").
This fragrance is very beautiful. At the beginning, you can smell the frosty freshness which transitions into the scent of brewed black tea and fades into warm and comforting spices. I didn't buy it here.
