- How to use
One of the most popular nail art decorations is transfer foil. It offers a quick, easy, and effective way to beautify nails with unique designs. The Semilac brand has introduced a film featuring a black minimalist pattern, which perfectly complements solid color bases. The black lace foil design pairs best with white, nude, and gray tones. This foil gives nails an elegant appearance and significantly reduces manicure time.
Features of the 06 Transfer Nagelfolie Semilac Black Lace by Semilac:
- The foil can be applied to the entire nail or used locally to create a design;- The abstract design is presented in black color;
- Semilac transfer film is well-suited for UV and gel application methods;
- It is recommended to use Semilac Transfer Foil Glue, but the film can also be applied on a cured layer of UV polish or a classic top coat;
- Speeds up the design creation process.

Apply the foil over the entire nail surface using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue:
1. Prepare the nail plate as usual.
2. Apply your chosen Semilac base or another product directly onto the nail plate and cure it under a lamp.
3. Apply a thin layer of Semilac Transfer Foil Glue and cure it under a lamp.
4. Place the foil with the less shiny side facing the nail and press it onto the tacky layer of the previously applied glue, making sure to press the foil carefully onto the nail.
5. Apply any top coat from the Semilac range and cure it under a lamp (for classic top coats, degrease the nails after curing).
Apply the foil to a selected area of the nail plate (as a small decoration) using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue:
1. Prepare the nail plate as usual.
2. Apply your chosen Semilac base or another product directly onto the nail plate and cure it under a lamp.
3. Apply your chosen shade of Semilac UV nail polish or color gel and cure it. This step can be repeated to intensify the color.
4. Apply a thin layer of any Semilac top coat and cure it (for classic top coats, degrease after curing). With Semilac Extend 5 in 1 polishes, this step can be skipped.
5. Apply a decorative design using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue with, for example, any brush from the Semilac range or the Semilac Dotting Tool, and cure it under a lamp.
6. Place the foil with the less shiny side facing the nail and press it onto the layer of previously applied Semilac Transfer Foil Glue.
7. Finally, apply any top coat from the Semilac range and cure it under a lamp (for classic top coats, degrease the nails after curing).
Applying foil onto Semilac UV nail polish
This method of applying foil is more complex because the tacky layer of the polish is not as strong as when using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue.
1. Prepare the nail plate as usual.
2. Apply your chosen Semilac base or another product directly onto the nail plate and cure it under a lamp.
3. Apply a thin layer of Semilac UV color nail polish and cure it under a lamp. This step can be repeated to intensify the color.
4. Place the foil with the less shiny side facing the nail and press it onto the tacky layer of the previously applied polish, making sure to press the foil carefully onto the nail.
5. Apply any top coat from the Semilac range and cure it under a lamp (for classic top coats, degrease the nails after curing).
