Clair de Lune CDL 5 is a floral aldehyde fragrance for women. The scent's top notes are dominated by a radiant fresh, slightly metallic-waxy-smoky aldehyde complex with typical nuances of wax rose petals and orange zest. Citrus aspects of lichen are absorbed and highlighted by bergamot oil, linalool, and petitgrain oil. The heart note is formed by the classic floral bouquet of Quelques Fleurs, encompassing the aromatic pillars of jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, orris oil, and ylang-ylang oil.

This perfume has a very unique retro scent! It is perfectly balanced and reminds me of the fragrances from the past century.
I would like to add to my review after nearly 2 months. The scent has settled and become softer, the retro notes have faded away. It is particularly good in hot weather and has a sharper edge in cooler temperatures.
Definitely a must-have for lovers of retro scents! Although I do enjoy old-school fragrances, these ones are a bit too loud and long-lasting for my taste.
