The consistency of this product is very thick and heavy, similar to Vaseline. It spreads well in the palms of my hands, but unfortunately, it doesn't apply well to my hair (no matter how much I use). The volume it provides is light and can be styled with a brush, but it doesn't add any thickness. It didn't work for me.
