Standard Nail Preparation
1. File the nail.
2. Use F.O.X Nano Dehydrator Nail Prep to remove any oils from the nail surface.
3. Apply F.O.X Ultrabond Non-Acid.
4. Evenly apply Air Base across the entire nail surface.
5. Cure under a UV lamp (36W) for 2 minutes or an LED/UV lamp (36/48W) for 60 seconds.
The nail is now ready for gel polish application.
The perfect base for beginners. It doesn't spread, leak, or bubble. It has a transparent color. I've been wearing it for 2 weeks now - no chips or peeling.
Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. My nails are thin and soft. This product didn't help me at all. It's definitely not suitable for weak nails! I have been using their Strong Base instead.
My love! My nails are thin, weak, and easily bend. I have always had problems with corners and constant chipping. I learned how to do my own nails because I was tired of being disappointed by "amateur" nail technicians who use the same template for everyone. Each type of nail requires its own material and technique. But with the purchase of this base, I can achieve perfect wear for up to 7 weeks without any hassle. (This was an experiment - don't try to wear the coating without correction for that long!). By the end of the experiment, the corners did start to peel off, but they didn't break and the coating still looked very presentable. I use this base alone for short nails and as a base for gel or polygel for longer nails.
