It hydrates deep layers of the skin while acting as a kind of vehicle for beneficial nutrients. As always, this product is top-notch. I initially tried the one with snail extract, and now I'm using this one. I am extremely satisfied with it, as it is perfect for my dry skin.
I have been using this product for several months now, and it is almost finished. I won't be repurchasing it. It doesn't provide enough moisture for my combination skin. Where it's dry, it remains dry, and where there are no issues, it doesn't make any difference. Overall, it doesn't do much. However, I must say that the delivery of the makeup was super fast.
This is a great basic product. I use it after acid peels and sometimes mix it with oil. I also apply it on my neck. It doesn't work miracles, but it is very necessary for moisturizing and calming the skin. One important thing: make sure to apply it on damp skin, right after toner or tonic. I apply toner first, then squeeze this essence into my palm, add a few drops of face oil (I use Caudalie), and apply it immediately on damp skin. Everything works perfectly, after about 20-30 minutes, you can also apply moisturizer or gel.
I am having trouble figuring out this essence. It is one of the products from the COSRX brand, so I cannot find a suitable combination with other products from different brands. Sometimes my face turns red, and other times I get breakouts (but when I stop using the essence, the breakouts disappear). There was one instance where I felt a burning sensation when I applied a snail mucin serum after using the essence. I bought this essence based on a blogger's recommendation, who claimed it had amazing results. However, I am currently disappointed.
