Interesting texture, like a transparent gel. It applies smoothly on the skin, initially creating a shiny effect. I wait for about 10 minutes for it to absorb and then apply foundation or powder.
I really like the protective effect, my face has not burned under the sun.
As for the downsides for me:
If I rub my face during the day, it tends to roll off.
There is also a slight dewy effect throughout the day.
