I bought this cream for my teenage daughter, who has dry skin and allergies. It effectively removes dryness on her face and heals the skin on her fingertips. My husband tried it as a quick solution for his cracked hands overnight, and it had an immediate effect. It doesn't leave a greasy or sticky film, and a big plus is that it has no scent.
The face cream is not very suitable - it leaves a strong greasy shine, even if applied very little. It clogs pores within 3-4 days. The night cream from Lumene moisturizes the face in winter much better. The only purpose for which this balm is needed is when used as a hand cream - it moisturizes the cuticles quite well. It is expensive for a cuticle cream.
Last winter, I received 2 testers of this product. Its rich texture allowed me to use these testers for half of the winter and also saved my very dry skin. It was a lifesaver for me during winter, and even beyond, as regular mass-market creams tend to cause a burning sensation on my dry and sensitive skin. It may be suitable for adults, but not for children, especially during the peak of atopy. I had never encountered this before, but my daughter (4 months old) developed it. We bought La Roche on the doctor's recommendation. At first, I didn't even understand why the child was crying so much. The spots did not go away. As it turned out, it contains urea, which causes a burning sensation and can worsen the problem. There are products without urea from well-known brands as well.
Additionally, I want to add that the consistency is so thick that the dispenser cannot handle it. It arrived when it was +2 degrees Celsius outside, and it stayed on the radiator for a day at home. Then, it thickened again halfway through the jar, and I stopped using it because we switched to another product. I cannot recommend it.

I have been buying La Roche-Posay Lipikar products for seven years now, and everything is great. However, please pay attention to the dispenser in the 400ml packaging. It starts to malfunction when there is still one third of the product left in the bottle. Later on, I have to resort to simply cutting the bottle open, even though there is still plenty of balm inside. This issue applies to other products in the line as well.
The cream is nice, but this is already the second time I bought it and the dispenser doesn't work. The first time I bought it at the pharmacy, and the second time here. Now, I have to cut the jar open because of its consistency, which is inconvenient and there is also a chance of scratching myself.
