Chanel Ombre Premiere Laque Eyeshadow Liquid Eyeshadow

The eyeshadows come in clumps and do not live up to their claimed value.

As much as I love Chanel, these eyeshadows did not work for me. I bought the purple shade, but it turned out to be more of a bronze-rust color. It is nowhere close to the advertised color. I tried blending it with my finger, but I didn't have time to fix it before it dried. I couldn't layer it again, it just rolled off. Maybe I need to practice more, I won't argue with that. But the bottom line is, this purchase was a miss.

I have shade 26, which is a delicate beige with a pink undertone, and shade 22, a light shimmering beige-gold color. I use them as my daytime eyeshadows, sometimes adding additional shades. The staying power is excellent, lasting all day. Shade 26 gives a refreshing look to the eyes and I combine it with the Chanel Les Beiges Palette Regard Belle Mine Naturelle Medium. Shade 22 has a subtle shimmer and I combine it with the Chanel Les Beiges Palette Regard Belle Mine Naturelle Intense. With these combinations, I can create different looks for any occasion. The eyeshadows hold up well on their own as well as when combined with the palette. For a more intense color, I can apply a second layer after the first one dries - perfect for evening accents.

I was really hunting for this shade number 22. It was nowhere to be found, but then I finally found it on Makeup. It's very disappointing that the product turned out to be terrible in this color. It goes on in patches and clumps, doesn't stay in place, and blending it nicely is impossible. It's really upsetting. I would give the packaging 5 stars though.

26 quartz rose. Silver and golden-beige mica on a pink base. Applies better with fingers than with an applicator. The glitter particles, compared to the similar Armani tint, are larger. They dry quickly, do not crease, and are long-lasting. The photo was taken in daylight.

I have the color 26. I really like it and use it every day in just one layer. The second layer goes on perfectly for a more vibrant pigment. It stays on all day. I liked the quality.

I have the color 28 desert wind. These eyeshadows are excellent with incredible shimmer. They are easy to apply, don't smudge, sparkle, and stay on well when layered. I am very satisfied.
