The body oil indeed has no scent, and this is definitely a plus. It is easy to apply, but after around 10 minutes, clothing tends to stick to the skin. It moisturizes and nourishes quite well and is comfortable to use overall. As an additional skincare during pregnancy, it is definitely good!
I bought a set in Poland: oil + unscented cream. The price of the set was 60 zlotys (approximately 450 hryvnias)!!!! There was a promotion at the pharmacy.
In Ukraine, the cream costs 778 hryvnias, and the oil was 350 hryvnias a week ago, but today I see it's 600 hryvnias!!!! So if you buy the set, it will cost 1378 hryvnias!
Now, about the product itself. The cream is amazing, it moisturizes very well, I even use it on my face. The ingredients are natural. I apply the cream at night and the oil in the morning. I prefer the cream. I don't regret buying it, especially at such a price.
The oil is truly odorless, which is perfect for morning sickness (I couldn't stand the scent of Veleda). It absorbs slowly, so you can't apply it and immediately rush off to work. It doesn't stain clothes, but it lingers on the skin for a while. My preference is to use it in the evening and use a cream in the morning. The plastic jar is transparent, which is not ideal for natural oils, but on the other hand, it's a safety plus in the slippery bathroom. There is no dispenser, which is inconvenient, and as a result, it is very wasteful. You pour it on your palm, pour, and sometimes it doesn't pour, and other times it pours too much... What I really liked is that within a few days, my skin became much more hydrated and elastic, and the painful stretching sensation in the belly area disappeared.
Oil is just oil. The addition of "bio" and the absence of a smell make it more valuable than their oil with a dispenser and a smell (although the dispenser there is really inconvenient). After trying a couple of expensive oils, I switched to cheaper ones. No one guarantees a miracle, and I don't expect it from any oil. With all of this, it actually lasts for 2.5 weeks if you apply it to the stomach, back, chest, buttocks, and thighs. If you exclude the thighs, it will last almost a month. And that's if you only apply it in the evening, but some girls start applying it 2-3 times a day at later stages. During the day, I prefer to use cream instead of oil because I just throw away my night cream afterwards.
Some of my friends bought just coconut oil or shea butter. I tried them too, but they take a long time to absorb, especially shea butter. Moreover, shea butter needs to be melted beforehand because it comes in some kind of granules. I didn't get along with it. That's why I prefer oils in liquid form, but at a more reasonable price. The selection in the makeup aisle is huge. I don't feel any difference in the effect, but I definitely feel the difference in price.
I bought this oil in Serbia, and now I will be ordering it from makeup as it has just become available in Ukraine. I really like that this oil has a natural composition and almost no scent. I didn't realize how important this was until I tried scented oils from other brands. And once again, I come back to Mustela fragrance-free.
