Modern day nail technology is pushing the boundaries of creativity, taking the entire nail art to the next level. Many new designs have lately popped up and already become trendy. However, gel polish manicures continue to enjoy great popularity, mainly because they last much longer than standard ones.
Every nail technician knows well that a base coat is essential, as it protects nails and helps gel polish to stay put. The choice of products offered by the market now is so wide that no wonder that anyone can get easily confused.
F.O.X, a famous American brand, has released Base Rubber Gel, a super effective base coat made of high-quality raw materials. This thick, transparent gel is designed to be applied before gel polish. Base Rubber Gel provides excellent adhesion between the gel polish and natural nails, preparing it for the application of a coloured coating.

Apply a thin coat to a nail primed with F.O.X Ultrabond Primer. Cure in a LED lamp for 30-60 seconds or in a 36W UV lamp for 2 minutes.

It is easy to apply and blends well, but it constantly chips and flakes at the tips, which I have never experienced with cheaper bases. In fact, the strong base even peeled off halfway down the nail.
I am satisfied with the foundation, it stays well on the nails.

I received the base and applied it. After a couple of days, it started to peel off. I read the description in English and found out that it should be applied after the base, meaning it's a top coat! They must have mixed it up. I don't need a top coat, I need a base coat. I am very disappointed!
I really liked the base, it has a good consistency and is easy to wear. However, it tends to bake in the lamp.
This is the best base coat I have ever used! The nail polish lasted without any chips for at least three weeks. The base coat applies excellently and doesn't spread out. It has a great consistency - not too thick, but not too thin either. I used to use the KODI base coat before, but it doesn't compare to the F.O.X. base coat. I definitely recommend it. :)
Very good foundation. It applies perfectly and self-levels nicely. It does cake a bit, but it's bearable. I even liked it more than the rubber one from Cody. It performed well during wear. I recommend it.
This product effectively smoothes the nail plate, but customers have mentioned that it can be quite irritating on the nail. I haven't personally tried it yet.
