We used to order this foundation in shade 420, and it was a perfect match - light and just right. However, this time I ordered it, and it came in a dark peach shade. I am very disappointed.
I ordered this foundation and received it the next day. It's excellent.
If you have perfect skin, then this foundation will suit you. However, if you have imperfections such as minimal skin texture, pores, or flakiness, the result will be disappointing as it will emphasize them. On the positive side, it is long-lasting. I have been using Bourjois foundations for ten years, but now I am switching to something else.
Favorite foundation. It mattifies the skin and lasts long.
The cosmetics are fantastic!
This is my second time ordering the 110 Light Vanilla foundation. It doesn't make my skin look yellow, and it applies smoothly without rolling off. The scent is pleasant, just like the previous bottle.
I buy shade 100 and apply it with a damp sponge in a very thin layer. It looks very nice, with a rather matte finish. It doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts. It's quite long-lasting and doesn't feel heavy on the face. The undertone has a pinkish hue, so it may not be suitable for everyone. Overall, it's a good foundation.
I purchased two shades, 120 and 125. The foundation is not bad, but I kindly request the seller to provide accurate information about the product, specifically the country of manufacture. The description stated that the manufacturer is from the United Kingdom, but the product I received was actually made in Ukraine. Please differentiate between products from the EU and those in stock. I did not expect to buy a product manufactured in Ukraine at this price. However, the product itself is almost identical to the original.
I ordered it in Germany in April, thinking that I had found my perfect shade. It covered acne nicely and was dense. I ordered it in Ukraine, the exact same shade: Ivory 115. It is darker and more liquid. I am disappointed... This is not at all what I expected.
This foundation used to be my favorite. I always got shades 120 and 125 and combined the two creams. However, the last time I ordered from Makeup, I was completely disappointed. The foundation in shade 120 supposedly came from the EU, but I don't know if it's some kind of counterfeit made who knows where or if the cream has been ruined. Its consistency is thinner than it used to be, it applies in a thin layer, doesn't hide imperfections, and the shade is completely different from what it used to be. I'm very disappointed and I won't be ordering it anymore.
This product is very impressive and worth the money. It is quite long-lasting and doesn't cause any fallout. It doesn't give the appearance of a dull matte mask. I am purchasing it for the second time in shade 110 for fair skin. Previously, I used Lancome Idol, Erborian, and Estee Lauder, which will now be reserved for special occasions.
I will add another photo.
This foundation, it was love. It gave a semi-matte coverage, which worked really well for my combination skin. And the scent, oh my, I absolutely loved it. But with this order...
The previous jar had a neutral shade that was perfect for me. But now, it's just awful. It feels like I ordered orange paint. It's totally unacceptable. Once again, the product and money wasted. I'm attaching a photo. I won't be ordering from this website again. Disappointed with the site.
The dark shade is what I ordered this time. The light one, previously...
Until now, I have been using Oriflame Georgani and The One, but today I decided to save some money and bought this foundation in a cosmetics store. The test application on my hand went well, the matte shade is perfect for summer, I thought, and the consultant assured me that it would keep my skin moisturized all day. However, when I applied it to my face, I was disappointed. Every fine line and wrinkle became three times deeper and more noticeable. Additionally, I have to blend the cream throughout the day because it tends to settle into deeper wrinkles. It's not visible on my hand, but it dries out my face quite a bit and causes visible flakiness. So, applying it after a scrub or peel is definitely not recommended. In short, I do not recommend using this product after the age of 40, but it might work well for very oily under-eye skin. I'm giving it one star for the brand and another star for the nice bottle design.
I have combination skin, leaning towards oily, with enlarged pores in the T-zone. Prior to this, I used the BB cream and Healthy Mix Serum from the same brand. The coverage of this foundation is average, with a matte finish. Sometimes I even use it in two layers as a concealer. What I didn't like is that this cream accentuates the texture of the skin, making every flake very noticeable. Additionally, it tends to dry out my skin throughout the day. For now, the BB cream from Bourjois is still my favorite.
Shades - my favorites, I buy them for the reddish tone and ... mix them with the Korean one. They accentuate all the dryness and signs of aging.
I am usually not too picky, but I will give this product a 3-star rating. This rating is mainly due to its somewhat decent longevity (although nowhere close to the 24 hours claimed by the manufacturer) and its ability to provide decent coverage. However, it does not blend well even with a damp sponge, and the scent is absolutely repulsive. It did not work well for my combination skin.
After trying almost all the luxury brands, I settled on Bourjois - I really like their foundation creams! The first and most important thing is the slightly peachy undertone, which is rarely found in this price range. This tone suits me, the pinkish pigmentation is not my thing. I have combination skin with no visible flaws. The texture is medium, it conceals imperfections quite nicely. It works well for both full-face makeup and just applying on the T-zone. It doesn't clog pores, oxidize, or slide off in patches, and it stays on well throughout the day. The texture is pleasant, leaving a velvety finish. It blends and spreads easily without a mask-like effect. I would prefer a slightly more hydrated effect, but overall I'm quite satisfied with the result. It has a pleasant scent and comes in a standard bottle. I purchased the 400 shade and it matched perfectly. Considering the price, it's a very successful purchase with great value for money. I tried the Guerlain shine control ultra mattifying primer with this foundation, but to my surprise, the Healthy Mix from Bourjois suited me much better. I really liked this foundation, but everyone is different, so I recommend testing it first before buying.
I like this foundation. It suits combination skin well and stays in place when set with powder. The shades shown in the photos are 310 and 410.
Mixed feelings... On one hand, it has good staying power and truly mattifies. It has medium coverage (I don't like products that are too heavy), evens out the skin tone, and covers minor imperfections. However, it doesn't hide pigmented spots and post-acne marks. It doesn't transfer onto the phone and doesn't feel like a mask. On the other hand, the texture is too thick for my liking. I prefer more fluid products because I apply them with a damp sponge. This product is harder to blend with a sponge compared to the same Helsey Mix. The coverage is somewhat matte, but also a bit dry. It accentuates the lines around the nose and makes the skin seem slightly dehydrated, even though I properly moisturize before applying foundation. It feels like it takes moisture away from the skin. Over time, this effect diminishes, but you have to endure it, and I want comfort right away. The shade also didn't quite match me. I use Helsey Mix in shade 51 during winter and 52 in summer. This summer, I didn't get much of a tan, but shade 125 turned out to be too light. I think it should be fine by the end of winter. For now, I have to darken it a bit, and I do that with shade 52 of BOURJOIS 123 PERFECT CC. Overall, this foundation will have its fans, but I probably won't repurchase it.
In general, it's okay, but the scent is absolutely terrible. It doesn't provide very good coverage.
Great! I have tried almost all luxury brands, but this one is way better and suits my face perfectly! It has reduced the size of my pores and doesn't sink into them. It is invisible on the face and has decent coverage. However, it might not be suitable for those with dry skin. The finish is matte, but not too flat, it has a satin effect. It mattifies my oily skin like all other mattifying creams for about 3-4 hours, but it doesn't slide off my face. Undoubtedly, it is currently my favorite for this summer. My shade is 110, which is light with a neutral undertone. (In the Healthy Mix range, shade 51 is too bright for me, while shade 110 is lighter). I'm adding the palette, it might be useful for someone.
I did not purchase this product here, but I will leave a review as I also read others'. The foundation seems to be okay (texture, color, etc. are all individual preferences). However, after using it, I developed pimples, and they appeared immediately after 8-10 hours (I always remove it with a good micellar water, my skincare routine is good, nothing has changed. I thought it was hormonal or due to my diet, but even after restoring my skin, I applied it for 4-6 hours and the problem started again. My skin is not problematic, but it reacted negatively to this product.
As a student, I was a fan of Bourjois' Healthy Mix foundation. But then they changed the shades, and 51 became too dark for me.
I decided to try shade 100 - it's perfect for fair skin, even with a hint of pink undertone.
I was drawn to this foundation because it promised everything I wanted from a foundation: hydration, 24-hour wear, and high coverage.
I have dry/very dry skin with frequent flakiness. I don't have any major issues. I usually apply foundations with a damp sponge.
This foundation turned out to have very weak coverage. Normally, I use 1-2 pumps of foundation. If I use two pumps of this foundation, it just disappears on my skin with primer, and it's not enough for my whole face. I have to use 3 (!) pumps, which is a first for me. And even then, it doesn't cover my minor flaws, like redness around my nostrils or slight redness.
The finish of Always Fabulous is indeed very natural, and my face looks smooth.
The coverage doesn't naturally improve throughout the day; flaws become more visible, so I don't know what 24-hour wear they're talking about.
The main problem is not the foundation itself, but what the manufacturer claims and what it actually delivers.
I was hoping that Always Fabulous would be a replacement for the discontinued Catrice 24h Made to Stay foundation - but it falls far short.
This is the coolest foundation for me! It doesn't emphasize any dry patches and sits beautifully on the face. I apply it with my fingers, gently blending it into the skin. The amount needed for this application is minimal - just a little less than one pump.
I got the shade 125 - Ivory. It does a good job of covering capillaries and light traces of rosacea, without looking like a mask, because it's not completely matte, but semi-matte.
I have been searching for a foundation that would suit my skin (combination T-zone, oily cheeks, dry with occasional breakouts, enlarged pores) for a very long time. Most of them either emphasized dryness or made my face look shiny. Additionally, it is difficult to find a foundation with light shades that match my very fair skin tone.
I spent months searching for the perfect foundation, and finally, I found the only one that suits me perfectly. It can be layered, but I prefer a light coverage, so I apply just a little bit. It lasts throughout the entire workday, without excessive shine in the T-zone or emphasizing dryness. It does not settle into pores.
I purchased the shade 120 - light with a beige undertone (which suits me). For those interested in lighter shades, I recommend shade 110 - light with a pink undertone, and shade 125 - natural beige (which is probably a good summer shade for me).
I highly recommend this product. It's a discovery for me! (I bought it elsewhere but wanted to leave a review here).
I have oily/combination skin. I used to use L'oreal Paris 24h Infaillible, which worked perfectly in mattifying my skin all day long. However, I can't say the same about this cream. I decided to try this new product based on a blogger's recommendation. The coverage is below average. It doesn't hide blemishes, spots, etc. It provides very light coverage. I started experiencing oily shine after about 4 hours. It's not suitable for my oily skin.
Thank you for the prompt delivery. I ordered size 110.
Good foundation. I enjoy many bourgeois products, and this one as well. I don't know if there's a big difference from bourgeois ones that cost around 150 hryvnias for makeup, but this product seems lighter in color, even though I chose the lightest shades there, both in the bourgeois brand and this one. It covers small imperfections, but not redness or pimples, no acne at all!
