I don't know what its function should be... well, it doesn't block sweat, which is normal. But the smell?! Not only did I and my daughter not like the smell of the deodorant itself, it reeks of a mixture of sea buckthorn, citrus, and sweat (this is just the bottle, not on the body!). So, its protection is 10% out of 100... and that's in winter... I hardly ever write reviews, but it's a shame for money wasted!

Standard natural deodorant: you sweat the same, you smell the same. I understand that it's better than supermarket products, but what's the point? With it or without it - it's the same!
It didn't work for me. I understand that it shouldn't protect against sweat, but I expected it to at least hide the smell, instead it actually emphasized and intensified the odor of sweat. Wiping my armpits with hydrogen peroxide is a more reliable way to combat odor than this deodorant. The bio-deodorant from EO Laboratory is much better, and it's currently on sale at Maykape, making it twice as cheap.

This is a wonderful natural deodorant. It's my favorite out of the entire Weleda deodorant line. When applied to clean skin, it does a great job even in the gym. The key is to have a proper diet, cleanliness of the underarms and clothing, and to avoid applying it immediately after hair removal :)
