Revitalizing Eye Cream CeraVe Eye Repair Cream

I really liked it, I hardly have any issues with it. However, the skin is tightened and looks great.

I have been using CeraVe eye cream for about a month and a half now. I am 33 years old and don't have any specific visual needs or problems. Everything is "average" for my age: beginner-level dark circles, a few shallow wrinkles under the eyes, light signs of crow's feet, and occasional puffiness. Additionally, my upper eyelids already hang noticeably, so my gaze always looks like I'm annoyed and unimpressed with humanity and the world. Let's not forget about my personal self-improvement efforts: regular beer drinking, smoking until recently, late nights, and forcing myself to wake up - quite a nourishing cocktail, to say the least. With this cream, my dark circles have quickly disappeared. The skin tone has become more even. I haven't experienced any significant puffiness during use (I'm not sure if it's thanks to the cream or the planets aligning). Thanks to the moisturization, even the wrinkles are less pronounced. They practically disappear immediately after use and gradually reappear later. But since we're talking about a cream that is quite affordable, not a magical elixir, this is still a good effect. Recently (due to a promotion), I purchased its companion (just to see if it would be better) - Vichy Mineral 89 eye gel. Sometimes I use them separately, and sometimes I layer the gel under the cream. Subjectively, it seems like the moisturization is more intense that way (maybe it's the power of self-suggestion, or maybe not). I like both products, although they have completely different textures. However, Vichy becomes less budget-friendly. If you want to create such a "cocktail," you could look for a single moisturizing product from a different price category, such as La Roche-Posay Hialu B5, for example. If I had to choose, I would stick with CeraVe as my regular basic care option, considering its affordability. And then we'll see.

If you are looking for a simple basic cream, this one is suitable. Before using it, I had dry skin with flaking and redness around my eyes (due to a bad toner), but after using it, my skin returned to normal. I didn't feel a wow-level of moisturization, but the dryness went away. I didn't have wrinkles, so I can't give feedback on that. I can't rate it a 5 because it really made my eyes watery and slightly stinging (like when you sit in front of a computer for a long time or are in a dry room). Because of this, I won't buy it again, but maybe someone with less sensitive eyes would have a different experience.

Be careful when choosing your cream, always pay attention to the ingredients. In this cream, alcohol is listed as one of the first ingredients. Furthermore, the composition also includes silicones and PEG, which must be washed off. Due to the presence of silicones, it may seem like the cream smooths out wrinkles, but unfortunately, the effect is only cosmetic.
