Olaplex No 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is based on the unique patented Olaplex technology. It provides delicate care and restoration of disulfide bonds inside each hair damaged due to dyeing and other styling procedures. The Phytenso ™ complex is responsible for photoprotection and strengthening. Acai berry extract, which has antioxidant properties, prevents hair loss and activates its growth. This conditioner is very pleasant and thick. It gives density and texture to thin hair, and I really like this effect. I am currently testing it and will see how it goes. I also have number 3 and I am simply delighted. Even if it doesn't actually restore these disulfide bonds, as many are now debunking this myth, I still like the visual effect.
This is the best hair product! I didn't believe in the power of Olaplex for a long time. I started with No. 5 and liked the quality of my hair after blow-drying. Then I read reviews and decided to order No. 6 and No. 7. I tried mixing it with other products from Davroe, Bjorn Axen, Oway, and other non-mass-market brands. But only when using the combination of No. 5, 6, and 7, does my hair (after Brazilian hair coloring technique) look salon-like, dense, not dry, not fluffy, but soft. I leave No. 5 for 5 minutes, then remove excess moisture with a towel, apply No. 6, and blow-dry with a round comb, then apply No. 7. It's amazing! I recommend it! I will buy it again and again! If you want the desired effect, you should use the whole set, not just one conditioner.

Personally, this conditioner worked very well for me in combination with the 4th product of this series. However, it is definitely not suitable for every use after washing. In such cases, something lighter in hair saturation is needed. Therefore, I will use it as a mask once a week. I recommend it specifically for lightened and non-curly hair because the silicone saturation is quite effective and makes the hair heavier, but also livelier and with a healthy shine. So, base your decision on the condition of your hair.

I have been buying this conditioner for the second time because I really liked it. My hair has been bleached three times using the air touch and balayage techniques, removing black color, and always after dyeing, I use this conditioner for the first month. I don't understand what it does, but my hair feels stronger, smoother, and denser. I have long blonde hair, and a 250ml jar lasts for 3 months of irregular use. I alternate it with the popular Korean conditioner in the gray bottle. And when I do a hair mask, I no longer use Olaplex because it is heavy and overly saturates my hair. This is an excellent product, I will try other Olaplex products as well. For now, I have numbers 5 and 6.

I ordered shampoo number 4 for lightened hair, conditioner 5, and emulsion about 2 months ago. I haven't written a review earlier because I was expecting results that would justify this price, considering all the hype around this brand - I bought large volumes right away.
After 2 months, everything is just sitting there and collecting dust. No effect at all, my hair is dry and brittle despite the care, it falls out, it's difficult to comb, and there is absolutely no shine! It feels like I washed my hair with a plain line and then went and burned it in a bonfire. This is probably the most disgusting thing I've spent money and time on.

I don't understand all this fuss around it. This conditioner is terrible and does nothing. It's just sitting amongst my other products, maybe I'll give it to someone. I frequently buy various non-budget products, test them out, and find the best ones. However, Olaplex has been the biggest disappointment in terms of expectations versus reality. After blow-drying, my hair is unruly and sticks out in different directions after just a couple of hours. Budget products don't allow for such things.
I have been using this shampoo together with the conditioner from the same series and I am very satisfied. The product feels like a cream that absorbs into the hair, there is no need for any additional masks. The entire length of my hair is moisturized, soft, easy to comb, and style.

It nourishes really well, as if it were a mask, and it is very thick. The only minor downside is the scent, it could have been more pleasant or even neutral. I used it when my hair was lightened. It worked very well! Now my lightened blonde hair has been toned to a brown shade (specifically, not dyed, but toned). Can I still use this product? Or will the toning (brown shade) fade quickly? I mean toning on lightened hair (not dyeing).

I really liked this conditioner. In principle, you shouldn't expect a miracle from a conditioner, but compared to other popular brands, it's not bad. I've tried Kerastase, Davines, Moremo, Matrix, CHI, etc. It's thick, and that's a huge plus - it reduces the amount needed by two to three times compared to other conditioners. The scent is great. It has an effect on natural hair of medium density with slightly lightened ends. It's especially nice that it doesn't overly moisturize like Davines, so it's suitable for oily-prone hair. Overall, it's my favorite.
Unfortunately, nothing extraordinary happened with my hair, even though I left it on for an hour. The effect was like that of a regular cheap conditioner.
What really works effectively are conditioners with hyaluronic acid, but this brand is not one of them.
