La Rive Sweet Hope Eau de Parfum

I ordered here and it arrived quickly, packaged very carefully with the label "Caution, Fragile". It's very pleasant, thank you Makeup for taking care of your customers' packages. The scent is cozy and autumn-like, reminding me of the sweet, slightly musky smell of old books in a library. It's a scent for myself. Now is the perfect time for it. It sits close to the skin, my relaxation scent. Thank you Makeup for the great prices and high-quality, fast delivery.

These fragrances are not long-lasting at all, you can hardly smell them after an hour. The scent vaguely resembles Dior Poison Girl, but mostly it reminds me of a grandma who dressed up nicely for a holiday, put on makeup, and sprayed herself with these perfumes.

The smell is awful, period.

I fell in love with this fragrance several years ago! I have the original one from Dior, they are very similar, almost indistinguishable, but to be honest, this fragrance is more delicate and sweet to me, simply amazing. And it lasts longer on me than the original, surprisingly, so it's love! Makeup, thank you separately for the fast delivery and nice packaging.

As many users have noted when comparing Sweet Home to the original, the vanilla in the La Rive version is different - I appreciate HP specifically for its natural, deep vanilla bean aroma. However, this is a matter of taste. In my opinion, it is the highest quality option for those who want to have a democratic alternative. Among other brands, there are Tesori D'oriente (a much more diluted variation on the theme) and Jeanne Arthes (which I really like, but has too much powder and is incredibly successful as a standalone fragrance). The only drawback of Sweet Hope is that it sits close to the skin and quickly fades - it lasts a maximum of 2 hours in my case. However, considering the availability of the fragrance from La Rive, this can easily be overlooked and refreshed whenever desired.

A pleasant sweet scent. They say it's similar to Hypnotic Poison Dior.

The longevity is average, and the sillage is moderate.

Perfume, as they say, works in all situations: it can treat wounds and within a minute start smelling pleasant. In the first seconds of application, it smells like medical alcohol and cools the skin. It's quite refreshing. But then it completely evaporates, leaving only a faint scent.

I can't quite remember how Dior smelled, but there is something familiar in this alternative. Plus, they are less sweet and somehow... outdated, perhaps. Like Mugler Aura: it's kind of sweet, but more herbal and powdery. However, Aura reveals itself as something truly amazing with its uniqueness, whereas here it is lacking.

The longevity is average, and there is no trail. I wear perfume for myself, just to smell it on my wrist from time to time, so I don't need a trail.

As a standalone product for this price, it is not bad, even good, but compared to Dior, it's really nothing.

If you really want Dior, it's better to buy a tester or a decant, a miniature, anything but a "dupe".

The scent is pleasant, but not long-lasting and definitely not trail-like. Once again, I am convinced that good perfumes start from 500 UAH...

I didn't order it here, but I would like to leave a review. The scent is truly heavy and sweet, it's hard to describe, but definitely suitable for cold weather. It lasts a long time on both the skin and clothes. Since I prefer sweeter fragrances, this is one of my best options for autumn and winter. However, before purchasing, I would recommend smelling the scent in person. The longevity is great, especially if you enjoy vanilla and sweetness. It is an excellent option for its price.
