Franck Olivier Oud Vanille Eau de Parfum

I have been wearing this fragrance for a year now. The perfume cost me an extra 400+). When I finally decided to buy this water, oh boy... it's called "Catch me if you can"). And I caught it! Oud Vanilla - such a deep aroma with vanilla, oud is present, I can smell patchouli with woody notes and dried fruits or spices... Such a cool scent, it's just delicious and tempting! If you like fresh scents, fruit compotes, or ice cream, you probably won't like it. But for me, I absolutely adore this perfume! Thank you, Make Up, for your work and efficiency during these difficult times for everyone, and thank you for the little gift! I love you guys so much ♥️.

I would like to add to the review. On some websites, the perfume is listed as women's rather than unisex, and I completely agree! I can't imagine it on a man at all. My husband also said that it is purely a feminine fragrance.

Deep, rich, smoky. A truly beautiful fragrance. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the East. Its longevity is infinite, just one spray on the wrist and it intensively lasts for 16 hours without fading. It leaves a captivating trail. I will only use it by dabbing.

Updating my review... After some time, the fragrance has significantly improved. The heaviness has disappeared and the vanilla notes have become prominent. I really like it. It belongs to the same series as Tom Ford's Black Orchid.

I purchased this product as usual, blindly based on reviews. I have never heard of such a scent before. It is very heavy and dense, smelling like some sort of construction materials or resin, sorry to say. It is unpleasant, overpowering the vanilla notes. Unfortunately, this is a disappointment for me. I usually like everything. I should stop blind buying products.

I hesitated for a long time before making this purchase, but I am glad that I did. I really like it, it's perfect for winter and it's durable.

I don't smell any oranges or jasmine, just a pure, alluring, slightly sweet scent. I really like it. The fragrance is very cozy and warm. It's sweeter on the skin than on clothes, but I wouldn't call it sweet. And, in my opinion, it's unisex. It's also incredibly long-lasting, a record for me, lasting several days on clothes and until bathing on the skin.

I'm glad I bought the perfume before reading Tamara's review, otherwise I would have hesitated. I find the scent to be interesting and unique, unlike anything I've worn before. I think it's suitable for the autumn season, so I'll keep it and wait for the right time to wear it.

Why haven't I ordered it before? This scent is absolutely amazing, perfect for lovers of smokiness, resinous notes, and woody undertones - it's a treasure, they immediately pour out of the bottle)))). The vanilla becomes more noticeable towards the end. Overall, this is a very worthy oud fragrance, not a gram worse than luxury or niche perfumes in this category (I even caught a whiff of hospital/bandages here, and my child sensed pickled cucumbers, definitely not middle-market notes). It's my discovery of the year. And yes, it's unisex. It sits beautifully on both my husband and me, even though I initially bought it for him. The trail it leaves is noticeable. And the longevity is decent, I can still smell it on my skin the next morning, and on my hair until I wash it.

I bought this perfume based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it did not suit me. It is extremely long-lasting and has a wintery scent, which might appeal to some people but not to me. I have come to the conclusion that buying based on reviews is not advisable unless you have personally tried it in real life :)

This is my second review... The longevity is unbelievable... It is definitely suitable for winter... However, it should be applied in moderation, otherwise people around you may get a headache... At least that's what happened to me when I was traveling to Kiev and was asked to hang my jacket in the train... Even after washing, you can still smell it on your clothes!

I am thrilled! I have fallen in love with this fragrance. I have never come across such a successful composition with vanilla. It sounds interesting, not cliché. The scent is more suitable for evenings, but I wear it whenever I can - I just love the feeling of it. The sillage is present, but not overpowering (within a couple of steps). I believe it would be unnecessary for it to be more aggressive. The longevity is good. The price-quality ratio is incredible. I disagree that it is only suitable for those aged 35 and above. I comfortably wear it in my thirties; and if I were younger, I would not hesitate to wear it as well. I will definitely be purchasing it again. I highly recommend it. For this price, I don't think you will find a perfume that performs better or at least as well.

I ordered them two weeks ago and I couldn't quite figure out what they reminded me of. And then, it hit me! It's my Montale Dark Aoud! I have a friend who collects Montale fragrances, and when I went to her place, she said, "You smell like Montale!" I didn't confess, but she kept complimenting me all evening! It was funny when she said that Montale is unmistakable. Well, they got it wrong this time! Fran Oliver really surprised me! After their fruity concoctions and sweet scents, to release such a bold fragrance! It smells like the wood that I adore, with a hint of something chemical, and there's some sweetness, but it's distant... but this perfume is truly amazing! All my friends and relatives loved it! No one suffocated from it! I don't know how it will work in summer and spring, but it's definitely perfect for autumn and winter!

Heavy and sharp in moderation, BUT DEFINITELY EVENING. I tested it in another store, not for young girls, but for those who are over 35. You can smell powder, vanilla, and a hint of spicy spices.

Definitely love at first sniff, it brought a smile to my face and to those around me. Initially, there is a hint of incense, followed by something sparkling, then vanilla, patchouli, a touch of roses, and then it takes off with some kind of black magic (which I don't like), and again spices, incense, cloves, and a fragrance of sacredness, something else... It's ambiguous, captivating, exactly what I wanted. It has great longevity and is perfect for the warm autumn-winter season. I disagree that it's not feminine. It's for those who enjoy being bold, intrigue, and good vibes. Definitely not for fans of "fresh, transparent" fragrances. I had the same impression with Kenzo Jungle Lelephant...

I bought this perfume for myself. On my all-consuming skin, the scent is soft and very oriental, which I find pleasant. At first, there is a hint of something medicinal (probably oud), but it soon disappears. Indeed, lovers of fresh scents should pass this one by. For me, this fragrance is a nostalgic greeting from the 90s. It's far from Montale, as Montale has a more sophisticated base. The longevity is good - it doesn't fade quickly and doesn't become tiresome even after a whole day, unlike Montale.

I am attracted to unusual scents, ones that have some mystery, a pyramid, rather than just being "sweet and tasty, smelling like cookies". But unfortunately, finding something like that in the mass market is not so simple. Nevertheless, I managed to add another specimen to my collection. The fragrance is truly unusual, mysterious. After spraying, the notes of frankincense burst forth. I can hear it very distinctly, dense, smoky, like incense. After about five minutes, it softens, and gradually the vanilla comes into play. There is a bit of sweetness, but not cloying. And then, everything sparkles, it's difficult to distinguish the individual notes, it's a complete picture, with such soft transitions. On one hand, there are smoky incense, and on the other hand, delicate sweetness. As for longevity, it's excellent. I have hot skin, perfumes usually fade quickly on me, but with this one, it's a completely different story. It is truly long-lasting, a micro spray on the wrist, and as a result, I could smell it all day. The fragrance is beautiful, unusual, multifaceted. It's not a sweet oriental, nor a smoky single-note fragrance. It's a complete composition that, in my opinion, can either be liked or disliked, but it definitely won't leave you indifferent.

Yes, it is a heavy, seductive, dense, trail-like scent. Although its direction reminds you of Montale and Montsera. But it is unique!!! I haven't come across anything like it.
At first, it smells like sweet cigarettes or hookah, you know, dense smoke. But luckily, you can only smell it in the cap and for the first 5 minutes after applying. Then it disappears completely, giving way to a vanilla oud spiced with sweet, seductive rose and a bit of spices. At first, it sounds loud, but then gradually fades. In the trail, there is a woody vanilla note. It is very beautiful on frosty days, envelops you like a warm blanket and makes you crave tea with spices or mulled wine in a cozy company.
Long-lasting!!! It stays on the skin for 1-2 days, depending on your skin type. On clothes, it lasts up to a week, and on hair until the next wash.
Definitely an autumn-winter scent and preferably for evenings. In small doses, you can wear it during the day if you really want to :))
