Then it smells like a damp forest with flowers in it, moist and mossy, almost musty - could it be agarwood? A little later, the scent of leather becomes distinct. I like it, thanks for the reviews! The fragrance is truly unusual, although it initially resembles Lancome's "La Vie Est Belle."

There is no resemblance to Lancome and there can't be. They have completely different scents. Montale fragrances are unlike any other perfumes; they are self-sufficient and unique. I don't like more than half of them, but that's just my personal preference. On other people, the scents unfold in completely different ways and smell wonderful and special. So, enough with the nonsense about Soviet colognes and grandmothers. If you personally don't like the scent on your skin, it doesn't mean it will smell the same on someone else. That's a simplistic and irrational judgment.

Regarding the scent, it is deep and multifaceted. It unfolds on my skin throughout the entire day. Additionally, it sounds completely different in the rain and cool weather compared to warm and sunny days. In my opinion, the scent is formal, expensive, and memorable. The sillage is strong, but not overpowering.

It's better to try any perfume on your skin and hair before making idiotic comments like it's not original and the scent isn't noticeable. I've been ordering here for 7 years, and not just me, but there are no fakes sold here. Everything is original and the same as in brick-and-mortar stores. For those who lack the intelligence to understand why there is such a price difference, I suggest contacting the official perfume suppliers and asking about the cost of products for retail stores (for example, Exagon Company, perfume Molecule).
