Following the footsteps of popular brands, Catrice has decided to update the formula of their product. Usually, such changes often lead to a change in the quality of the product. This change did not pass by this foundation either. The updated formula includes niacinamide, a very beneficial component for the skin. So, how did these changes affect this foundation?

1. Color. In my opinion, it is half a shade darker and warmer than the old version. The color is successful, it is not too yellow and looks natural (at least on my face, it is not as pale as the previous one). I also noticed that it does not oxidize (darken) after a few hours.

2. Mattifying. The foundation mattifies, but this matte finish is not as "flat" as the previous one. It does not look as dry on the skin and it also feels like a cream, not powder, when touched.

3. Consistency. The new version has a thicker consistency and does not spread. It is somewhat similar to a thick fluid, it cannot be called a cream.

4. Coverage. It is at a high level. It also conceals all imperfections well.

5. Longevity. In winter, I cannot test the foundation's endurance in high temperatures, but overall, it wears throughout the day without smudging.

Conclusion: The formula with niacinamide is quite successful, in my opinion. It dries out the skin less and looks more natural.

I have the shade 002 - yellow undertone, not too light, slightly oxidizes. It quickly blends on the face. I apply it with a damp sponge on prepped skin with moisturizer/primer. It is likely to be quite long-lasting, although I wouldn't say it's completely matte (maybe I didn't skip moisturizing before applying foundation). It is noticeable on the face, so I will mix it with lighter textures.

It is simply amazing! I have been using it for many years, occasionally trying others, but still, I haven't found anything better, even among luxury brands! I definitely recommend it!

I chose shade 002, a very nice tone. It suited me very well, providing a beautiful matte coverage. I highly recommend it.

I have been using shade 010 for a minimum of 5 years. It perfectly covers all imperfections, redness, and bruises. I apply it with a damp sponge because it spreads thinly and doesn't emphasize dry areas of the skin. I cannot give it a rating of 5 because it oxidizes throughout the day.

I purchased it elsewhere, and unfortunately, it oxidizes and turns yellow on the face. However, it has great staying power and provides good coverage.

This is the only foundation (and I have tried many) that terribly burns my skin. I tried it with and without primer, but the result is the same. It feels like a burn on my skin, immediately turning red to burgundy after application. However, the foundation itself is not bad, it just didn't work for me. I do not recommend it for sensitive skin.

I used to be impressed with this cream, but later on, I was disappointed. Firstly, it started oxidizing. Secondly, it gives a makeup-like appearance on the face, which looks completely unnatural. One of my favorite foundations... Used to be... This purchase was an exception. It oxidizes very strongly. It turns yellow. The color is 010. I decided to try this foundation after reading a bunch of reviews. My impression is mixed. In my opinion, this tone is not suitable for dry skin. I have oily skin. I was impressed that the foundation does not transfer onto my phone. Even after blotting my face with a tissue, it remains dry and clean. I got the shade 010, and initially, the color looks somewhat normal, but then it turns yellowish.

For photography purposes, the foundation gives a nice effect, but if we talk about naturalness, I would choose another one.

I like it, but unfortunately there is an issue with the shades. None of them suit me, as I have a yellow undertone in my skin. Only Estée Lauder works for me.

The shade 010 is perfect for girls with fair to medium-light skin. This foundation hardly oxidizes on me (maybe adjusts to half a shade lighter). It does not leave any traces on my phone or clothes after setting it with powder. I apply it very quickly with a damp sponge (if applied in reasonable amounts, the coverage looks quite natural). I shake it before using it, as the foundation is somewhat liquid and it nicely covers minor skin imperfections. I am not a chemist, so I did not delve into the composition of the product, but if it is effective and gives good results, I will definitely repurchase it. I recommend it to girls with oily skin types and without significant imperfections (acne, breakouts, dryness, and flaking). The price is quite reasonable to give it a try.

I didn't buy it here. I heard a lot of recommendations from beauty bloggers and decided to give it a try. I got the shade Rose Beige (I think it's 020).

Here's what I want to say: the foundation quickly sets and dries upon application, making it difficult to fix or apply without streaks. Layering it is not a good idea in my opinion. I didn't choose the right shade for myself, and it oxidizes immediately after application, making it too dark and noticeable on me. It accentuates wrinkles, although it is generally long-lasting and stays on well. However, it feels like there is too much talc in it. The country of origin was Poland, maybe if it was stated that it was from Germany or Italy on the makeup, the quality would be different.

But I won't buy this foundation again, it's just not good quality. The cheap Korean Collagen Enough foundation performs much better.

The first time I ordered from the EU, it came very thick and difficult to get out of the jar. Normally, it is very liquid and because of this, it applies well.

I have a tan skin tone and shade 040 suits me well for the summer. There is a suspicion that the foundation adjusts to the skin if the shade is not +/- yours. Yes, it covers redness and color differences on the face excellently, just make sure not to apply it too thickly. However, there is one downside. The face starts to shine after a few hours. This is definitely a minus. Although it is not advertised as a matte coverage, I would prefer it to be more long-lasting. Let's see how it behaves in cold weather. Most likely, when it runs out, I will look for another one... one that is more matte and long-lasting. The pipette is convenient, the bottle is beautiful, and the foundation is economical. For those with normal skin, it will probably be perfect, but for me, with oily skin, I give it 3 stars.

This is an excellent foundation. I will buy it for the third time because it is economical to use due to the pipette. Maybe it depends on the skin, I don't know, but for me, it's perfect! Why pay for expensive brands when this one is ideal!

The texture is liquid. I applied it with a damp sponge, starting with dots and then blending it as I should. I noticed that if I hesitate even a little, it dries and I have to blend it more vigorously so it doesn't look like a patch of plaster. It provides a beautiful and even coverage without emphasizing pores and texture. It makes smooth skin without blemishes even more beautiful, but if there is redness from a pimple or a dark spot from acne, it won't completely cover it - you'll need a concealer. It stays on my oily skin all day.

The texture of this foundation is not bad, but the surprise is that shade 30 oxidizes very heavily. After half an hour, it becomes an entirely different color on the face.

I tried shade 005 and it works perfectly for fair skin, without any reddish or pink undertones.

Yes, you still need to wash both the brush and the sponge, but with this method, it is quicker to wash two tools than one when using only the sponge.

I bought shade 03. However, upon drying, it turned into a brick-like red color. I do not recommend it.

After several months of use, I want to say that the foundation is decent. It beautifully blurs the face and doesn't completely mattify. Favorite foundation. Very long-lasting on oily skin. It looks the same in the evening as it does in the morning when applied, provided that matte blotting papers are used. It doesn't dry out my skin. I apply good moisturizer before using it. It doesn't emphasize flakes if applied with tapping motions. For some reason, it doesn't apply well with a damp sponge. I use either a dry sponge or my fingers.
Shade 010 is too dark for fair skin, 002 is suitable for me, but it might be a bit dark for very fair complexions.
A must for good application is to shake the foundation before use. Otherwise, it will go on horribly.
Coverage is medium to full. It's better to apply a thinner layer, but it can also be built up, although it will be very noticeable.
Layering is not recommended, not even concealer on top, as it may lift the foundation. Therefore, I conceal all imperfections before applying the foundation and try not to go over the same area multiple times.

I have stopped using it, as well as any other foundation, and I have no regrets! The shade 010 is a bit dark for fair-skinned people and it even gets darker in the jar over time. I have seen shade 002, and it is much better and not as yellow as shown on the website. Nevertheless, I urge you not to mask your face to the detriment of your skin, but rather to focus on improving its condition!
