Montale Aoud Leather Eau de Parfum

The longevity is just like all Montale fragrances! It lasts a very long time, but the scent was disappointing. I bought it without hesitation, thinking it would have a luxurious leather fragrance! But ladies, all I can smell is the scent of earth, I can't detect any leather.

The longevity is excellent, but I personally didn't like the scent. I consider it more suitable for men, as it truly has a strong leather smell, even slightly resembling plastic. In my opinion, there are more feminine fragrances available for women.

Today I wore this fragrance and oh my, it's something else. It's a blend of spicy sweetness and a gentle woody note. My husband absolutely adores it on me.

I will tell you how it specifically fits me. In spring, it has a leathery scent (it is mentioned exactly like that on the official website), very complimentary! However, in summer and winter, it becomes a strong green cardamom, and surprisingly, it remains as the final note, no hint of pepper! It is not suitable for work or business meetings because, believe it or not, it smells like marijuana. I'm not joking. But in spring, it sounds great, "rich and luxurious," without any insinuations!

I bought this water without testing it, solely based on reviews and intuition, as I prefer non-floral scents. I want to say that I liked the scent, although I had to wear it for a few days to better understand it. I slightly miss a bit of bitterness, the scent is a bit soft, but pleasant. I will continue searching and intend to explore Montale, as I have discovered the amazing world of "Montale" with this purchase. And, as always, Makeup store's service is excellent. I started getting acquainted with this fragrance from a sample and decided to get a larger version. The combination of leather and oud in this fragrance is very well done. The leather note itself is subtle and not overpowering. Additionally, for some reason, I can also detect a fresh cucumber scent, but not in a salad-like way, more like a fresh and green scent. It's a pleasant addition. One of my favorite fragrances.
