It burns the skin around the pimple where it was applied. The pimples do not dry out, even though I applied it locally. My chin peeled off and took 2 weeks to heal. I do not recommend it!
I am disappointed with this exfoliator; it is definitely not suitable for sensitive skin. The first time I left it on my skin for up to 5 minutes, my face turned red. I gave it a second chance, but the same thing happened again. The only positive aspect is that it makes the skin beautifully shiny.
It is very annoying that products from Europe take forever to arrive. One huge drawback is the packaging. It is not sealed in any way, and you never know who or where it may have been opened. It burns moderately and caused some peeling effect. However, I will not purchase it again because of the unsafe packaging appearance!!!! I am giving it one star for this reason.
I have oily skin and used the peeling once a week. There was a slight tingling sensation, and I sometimes used the neutralizer. I tried rinsing with water and everything was fine. After the peeling, I used either a fatty cream or dexpanthenol. The result was that my skin and pores improved, but not completely. It lasted for about 4 months. It's a pity that the price has significantly increased.
With its help, the breakouts on my back disappeared. I definitely recommend it!
I didn't like the peeling. Or rather, it didn't work for me or my sister (even though we have different skin types). My skin is prone to breakouts. This peeling provokes them very strongly. I tried applying it for a very short time and for a longer time. The result is the same - inflamed breakouts.
I will share my experience of using this product. My skin is accustomed to acids. For 5 years, I used the Noreva Exfoliac lotion, but unfortunately, it has not been available for a long time. I had been eyeing this product for a while, but I was scared of the high acid concentration. After reading reviews, I decided to make the purchase. The first time I applied it cautiously, the first layer caused a slight tingling sensation in areas where I had open wounds. After about 5 minutes, I applied a second layer to problem areas, and after 7 minutes, a third layer. In total, I left it on for about 20 minutes. I rinsed it off with water and baking soda. My skin felt tight, but there were no unpleasant sensations. The next day, the sides of my nose started to peel slightly, and that was it...nothing peeled off during the second and third use. It is difficult for me to assess the effectiveness of the product because I am not sure if my skin should be peeling or not. By the way, for the second and third use, I simply rinsed it off with water.
I bought this peeling product based on the advice of a dermatologist. I have redness on my skin and a few breakouts. This was my first time using it. I applied the peeling for 10 minutes, and it didn't sting too much. I rinsed it off with cold water and baking soda. My skin turned extremely red, and I thought I may have left it on for too long... But by the next morning, everything was fine. Now my skin has lightened significantly, feels tighter, and is ready for exfoliation. I am satisfied with the peeling product.
I highly recommend this exfoliating product if you have acne and clogged pores. I use it once a week for 20 minutes, and there is no need for a neutralizer if you rinse it off thoroughly with water. After several uses, I noticed a significant reduction in my clogged pores, even though previously retinol, azelaic acid from the pharmacy, and other acids didn't help with them.
This product is perfect for oily skin with breakouts and post-acne marks. I can easily leave it on for 20 minutes without any discomfort. I neutralize it with a baking soda solution. The first time I used it, it stung a little more, but later I realized it was because I had more fresh, unhealed pimples that hadn't formed scabs yet. It doesn't burn on skin without any fresh, open pimples and works well on deep, under-the-skin acne. On the second or third day, some peeling occurs, but it's within normal limits and doesn't cause large chunks of skin to come off. After a couple of days, I apply a good epithelizing cream from Medicea. The peel effectively lightens post-acne marks. I will definitely order it again.
I have a long positive experience using acids and peels. My skin is generally good, with rare breakouts before my menstrual cycle, and it is normal to oily in the T-zone. I bought this peel based on the recommendation of a cosmetologist, to lighten blackheads and give my skin a radiant glow. I left it on for 20 minutes on freshly washed and dry face. It burned strongly. After rinsing it off, I had a few semi-transparent papules that eventually went away. The next morning, my skin looked stunning. I have never experienced anything worse in my life. I don't even know what to say.
Great exfoliator! It effectively reduces inflammation and brightens post-acne marks.
This is a great peeling product. I leave it on my skin for 15-20 minutes and there is no peeling or redness. It effectively removes pigmentation spots and brightens the skin. I wanted to order more, but it's currently out of stock.
The only thing that helps me with large subcutaneous pimples. It doesn't extract them from the surface but dissolves them. I keep it on my face until the tingling sensation stops. At first, I washed it off with baking soda, but now I just use water. I bought it here in February for half the price.
I purchased this product a year ago and used it once every 10 days during the winter. Everything was fine.
I decided to apply this peeling after an enzymatic one, left it on for about 7 minutes, and noticed the appearance of small white translucent bumps in certain areas. I quickly rinsed it off with water and baking soda.
I didn't experience much redness, but there were a couple of bubbles, luckily they disappeared within three days. I got really scared though.
So, be cautious. I will only use this peeling as a standalone procedure, without preparing my skin with an enzymatic peel.
After applying, I expected my skin to feel like a volcano, but it was actually quite tolerable. The burning sensation from the almond peel at the cosmetologist's office was much stronger. I left it on for 10 minutes, then applied a baking soda and water neutralizer (which caused a stronger burning sensation at that moment), and rinsed it off with room temperature water. My skin felt tight, like after any acid peel, and it was shiny. After an hour, I applied a moisturizing cream.
This is a great acid for at-home peeling, as long as you have some experience with several procedures done by a cosmetologist and understand the sensations and absence of allergies. My skin reacts very well to acids, and I leave it on for more than 10 minutes (my skin type allows for this). I experience peeling on the 2nd or 3rd day. I repeated the procedure after 5 days and am pleased with the results. The price is significantly lower than a course of treatments (at least 4-5 procedures) done by a cosmetologist.
Great exfoliant. It worked well, the main thing is not to leave it on for too long, especially for those with sensitive skin. I left it on my dense skin for about 20 minutes. I use it once a week. I bought the neutralizer and used it at first, but then I forgot and just washed my face, and I didn't notice much of a difference. Whether or not to use the neutralizer depends on your skin (my face only started peeling after the second Jessner procedure). Afterward, I still used a soothing mask. I bought it to prepare my skin before Jessner. The cosmetologist praised my skin, saying it was well taken care of. I have fewer breakouts and cleaner pores, not perfect but significantly improved. Now I want to try the one with salicylic acid.
Effective and very easy to use.
