For the best hair lightening results, spray after applying the conditioner to towel-dried hair, then proceed with a regular styling. For optimal lightening, use a hair straightener or a curling iron after blow-drying. Use only once between washes. Spray on clean and wet hair only. Avoid more than 10 uses between colour treatments. Spray thoroughly, making sure that it is distributed along the entire hair length.

Interesting product. The effect on natural hair is noticeable from the first use. It does tend to dry out the hair a bit, but with the use of additional products, it's not a big issue. The scent is citrusy.
I have been using this spray for a year now, and I must say, it has given me stunning blonde hair that looks healthy and vibrant. My hair remains undamaged and free from dryness. Even after almost 3 months since my last haircut, my ends haven't split. Of course, proper care plays a role, but this spray definitely does its job - it lightens my hair without causing any harm to the strands.
I really liked the spray, it actually lightens the hair. I have naturally light brown hair, so it suited me well. Of course, if your hair is darker, don't expect a wow effect right away. The spray has a cumulative effect. It's a great product for those who want lightening without dyeing their hair.
Great product for natural blondes to add subtle highlights! I really liked it, it provides gentle lighting without damaging the hair, and has a pleasant scent. The result is smooth and gradual, you won't instantly become blonde, everything looks very natural! It gives my hair a beautiful warm color, without any yellow or red tones. I used it twice a week at first, then reduced it to once a week. It doesn't dry out the hair, as I always moisturize it and have great masks and care. A wonderful alternative to coloring! Definitely recommend it to natural blondes! 5 stars!!!
I used to buy this product in a different bottle with a black cap. That one was really effective. However, in this lemon-colored bottle with a light cap, it feels more like water instead of a spray. It doesn't have the characteristic smell that a peroxide-containing product should have. It's just like water, and it doesn't seem to work either.
Great product! From the first use, my hair became shiny and the scent is pleasant.
I have been using this product for more than a year, so I can confidently recommend it. I am naturally light-brown haired, but I wanted the effect of sun-bleached strands, like in the summer. I used it once a month to avoid a noticeable transition. Since my hair is short, one box was enough for 7 applications. However, if you leave the solution on your hands for too long, you may get white spots, similar to those from hydrogen peroxide. Overall, I am satisfied with it as it doesn't dry out my scalp or hair. It provides a gentle lightening effect, which is quite noticeable from the first use.
I didn't like the spray at all! Firstly, it caused an allergic reaction on my arm. Secondly, it has a very strong smell when you start drying... It gave me a headache and made me feel like I couldn't breathe properly. Overall, I didn't see any lightening effect! Also, it's not advisable to use it frequently because it dries out the hair terribly. I applied it only on the front strands near my face, not on my whole head.
After using one bottle of this product, my hair became two shades lighter. Surprisingly, my hair didn't appear drier after the lightening process. I was so satisfied with the results that I decided to purchase two more bottles to maintain the regrowth at my roots.
I don't share the positive reviews. I used it for every wash, but my hair didn't lighten even by 1/10 of a shade. However, the spray didn't dry out my hair like many people claim here.
Girls, this is shocking, but yes, the spray works! You have to be careful, of course, as it dries out the hair a lot, but any lightening product also tends to do that. In short, this is a great find. For those who don't believe it, I recommend at least doing a strand test and you will see that your hair lightens before your eyes!
The spray really works. My brown hair has become slightly lighter in shade. However, don't get too carried away with it as it contains hydrogen peroxide.
With the help of this spray, I haven't dyed my hair for 5 years already. It's simply a breakthrough for those who want their hair a few shades lighter. I am very satisfied and will definitely buy it again. I highly recommend it to everyone.
I do not recommend it. It gives a yellowish tint to the hair.
This product is absolutely amazing. It really works and not only removes the yellow tint from blond hair like most products, but also lightens the hair. Even my natural dark roots became about 3 shades lighter, I'm in shock. I will definitely be ordering more.
I am writing a review after using this spray for 2 years. At first, I applied it after every wash, 5 times on all of my hair. Gradually, my hair became lighter, starting with a reddish tint, and then I achieved a light wheat blonde color. Afterwards, I only applied it twice a month on the roots. I must say, the spray created a "stressed" zone on the top part of my hair, which is the over-bleached section. This section becomes stretchy like a rubber band when wet, and no mask can fix it. It can only be grown out. My hair became significantly thinner and started to look awful, but this happened after a year of use. If I used to be able to easily comb my hair without conditioner, now it requires a 4-step care routine to bring it back to order. So, think carefully before using it. If you want to make your hair slightly more golden and you have level 7 brown hair, then it may be a great option. However, if your brown hair is at level 7, the blonde will be very damaged.
Great spray! I compare it to the well-known L'Oreal Sunkiss, and I can say that John Frieda is much better.
Firstly, it gives my light brown hair much less red tone. However, I want to note that if your hair tends to get yellow, then any hydrogen peroxide spray will likely have the same effect. In this case, you either have to accept this fact or lighten it to the desired shade and use a special purple shampoo. And if there is absolutely no yellowing, only coloring will achieve such an effect, and it's not surprising that colorists charge so much for their work, you can't achieve this effect with a spray for 300 UAH.
Secondly, this spray doesn't have any smell after the hair dries. It also doesn't make the hair greasy, it even slightly dries it.
And thirdly, the most important thing, after 3 applications it noticeably lightened my hair, while still maintaining a natural look and keeping strands with slightly different shades.
This spray is great for enhancing natural light brown hair. Yes, at first, the shade becomes slightly yellowish, but if you endure and use it a few more times, you can achieve a beautiful color. I add a few drops of purple toner to my conditioner or mask, and my hair has a cool undertone. Based on my observations, using the spray is better than the shampoo from the same series, as it gives a more intricate, streaky coloring and causes less damage to the hair.
My favorite product for maintaining a bright hair color after summer.
This product is perfect for achieving a sun-kissed hair effect. I have naturally dark blonde hair, and the result was simply amazing from the first use. My hair is in good condition, but I will take a break before using it again since the spray clearly dries out the hair. Here are the before and after photos.
I have dark brown hair, but after using this spray for half a year, I have become almost blonde. However, I use it moderately because the transitional color was not attractive. In the end, everyone thinks that I dyed my hair blonde. It gives a beautiful effect of sun-kissed hair.
I spray it on my roots as well, and in the summer, my strands instantly get sun-bleached. Despite this, my hair remains soft and silky. I am thrilled and ordering it for the second time.
It really lightens. But be prepared to "turn red." I have light-brown roots (closer to a gray tone) and nearly blonde ends (they get bleached in the sun). So now I'm a redhead). I use it after every wash. I don't blow-dry my hair. I don't see any damage to my hair after using the spray. Don't apply it too close to the roots, otherwise you can see how the hair grows out, like after a failed bleaching). I think if you use it in the summer when you're out in the sun, the effect would be just right.
I really liked this product. I use it once a week and don't blow dry my hair. It has made my hair significantly lighter and hasn't damaged it. I highly recommend it.
Not a bad replacement for Loreal, which is no longer in production. I achieved a wheat-like shade in just two applications, although I did use a hairdryer.
I really wanted to lighten my hair, but after using this product, I no longer have that desire. I remember how about twenty years ago, in "pioneer camps," we would apply regular hydrogen peroxide to our bangs, and by the end of the session, they would become blonde, almost yellow. This product has the same effect, absolutely. Hydrogen peroxide gives my hair a horribly yellow, unnatural shade (my natural hair color is light brown). Yes, the product might be good, but... oh my god, you can just buy regular hydrogen peroxide, add a few drops of chamomile and lemon oil to it, and it will be cheaper with the same result. Maybe the product has its place, but the result is exactly the same as using regular hydrogen peroxide, just a bit faster. Also, it has the pure hydrogen peroxide smell, and if you spray it on your palm and leave it for a while, it "eats away" just like regular hydrogen peroxide.
I really love this series. I have ash-brown hair, and the spray, combined with the shampoo and conditioner, gives the effect of a complex dye job! Every time I go for a haircut, the stylist is amazed at how beautiful the color turns out! And yet, it doesn't damage my hair and it looks very nice in the sunlight. I used the SunKiss gel from Loreal for several years before. But they discontinued it :( John Frieda came to the rescue)) because I really wanted a gentle lightening. This series is exactly what I needed! Thank you, MakeUp, for the wonderful work!
I absolutely adore this spray! I have already used two bottles and will be purchasing a third. I have naturally light blonde hair, but I wanted to achieve an even lighter effect, as if I had just come back from the beach. This spray lightens my hair even after the first application: I apply it to damp hair and blow dry with hot air. I also used it at the beach, and the effect was amazing. However, my friend with light brown hair noticed a slight reddish tint to her hair. Nevertheless, it still looks very beautiful and natural.
I highly recommend this product. It does not dry out the hair and provides a smooth transition in the lightening process, just as I wanted.
The spray works! I use it on my natural red hair. The effect is very noticeable after 5 procedures.
I love this spray, I have been using it for several years. My hair is not dyed, but with the help of this spray, I was able to lighten it very noticeably, at least by 3 tones.
The most important thing is to use it no more often than instructed, otherwise it damages the hair (dries it out).
There is no feeling of greasiness or heaviness after application.
One of my favorite products!
The scent is pleasant, but it can be deceptive. It is necessary to use gloves and spray with utmost caution, as it may cause irritation. Another drawback is the "red hair effect" if used excessively or frequently. However, overall, it works and lightens the hair color by 1-2 shades when used moderately.
Amazing spray! It gives a fabulous sun-kissed effect for both blondes and brunettes. Everyone compliments me and thinks I dyed my hair because it looks so beautiful and blond! If used moderately and with proper hair moisturization, it won't make your hair dry. I recommend using heat protection and oils to keep your hair in good condition.
I really liked the spray, the effect is noticeable after several uses. On the left side of the picture is how it was before, and on the right side is after using the spray.
Great product)))) I use it together with the lightening shampoo, and after the third use, my hair noticeably lightened (originally dark-brown) and acquired a pleasant golden shade. The color looks natural, which is pleasing. As for the downsides, the product slightly damages the hair, but considering the presence of hydrogen peroxide in the composition, it is quite expected. Good hair care and breaks between uses solve the problem.
Thank you. It's nice to order and receive easily. Thanks to all the staff and couriers. Now, let's talk about the product.
I ordered it for my daughter. We used to use the Loreal lightening spray, but it was discontinued. However, this spray exceeded all expectations. The volume is not small. I think it will last for a month. The quality is superb! We have never had anything like this before! Hair feels like after a salon treatment! The scent is like perfume... light and fresh. I highly recommend it. My daughter is thrilled... I will now order it for myself.
The spray is really cool and effective. I used a mask from the same series and didn't see any results. I wanted to lighten my hair in the spring, so I used the spray every day (in large quantities) for 15-20 days. After about 10-15 times, my hair became blonde (my natural color is medium blond). They weren't disgustingly yellow, but more of a light wheat color, which looked amazingly beautiful. Additionally, they seemed thicker and more beautiful with this color. Then I realized that the spray was almost finished, so I stopped using it. After 2-3 weeks, my hair started to grow out and looked black, while the wheat color turned into a light reddish hue. It was acceptable in the morning, but as the day went on, my hair became greasy, and the reddish color visually emphasized the greasiness at the roots. It was the worst time. I suffered for another 2 weeks and hated this spray. Then I went on vacation for 2 weeks, and my hair got a little sunburned, and everything looked gorgeously beautiful again. But after a few weeks, they became reddish again. It's a period that you have to endure, but if someone had warned me in advance, I definitely wouldn't have agreed to such an experiment. Now, a year has passed, and my hair is shoulder-length, half blond and half light. It looks like subtle highlights, and all the hairdressers in salons are interested in how I achieved this look, and most people like the color, including myself. However, I won't agree to such an experiment again. And just so you understand, for a whole month (in total, definitely not less!), everything was so bad that I actually wanted to dye my hair back to its original color... but the decision is up to you.
The spray does an excellent job :) The only thing is, I think the price is a bit high. It lightens the hair by using hydrogen peroxide, which is a very cheap ingredient. I will probably continue to buy it, but only if it's on sale.
I decided to try this product for the first time. I have long, untreated, brown hair. The effect is fantastic! I use it 1-2 times a week after washing my hair. After a month of use, the results are excellent. My hair has noticeably lightened, with a beautiful and natural straw-like color. My hair hasn't worsened, but I do intensely nourish it with masks and various oil-based fluids.
I love this spray! Thank you, John Frieda, for giving me the opportunity to enjoy warm hair color all year round without using dye))) In the photo, you can see the difference after using it for 2 years. I don't use it too often, and I don't go overboard, as it can damage my hair.
Girls, this is not hair dye or a tonic. It is simply a spray to make your hair look "sun-kissed" in the winter, just like in the summer. Don't expect it to completely transform you into a blonde. Personally, the spray met all my expectations. My hair is natural, not dyed, with a color between brown and light brown, even a bit wheat-yellow-reddish-greenish. I always like how my hair gets sun-kissed in the summer, with some strands almost turning white. But in the autumn, my hair darkens again. I bought this spray so that my hair would look "sun-kissed" in both autumn and winter. And that's exactly what I got. Yes, it does give a yellow tint, but for me, it's not a problem as it resembles my natural color. But for those who find it important, take note. Yes, it does dry out the hair, as it contains hydrogen peroxide, but for me, it's not a concern because my hair is in good condition and a little "damage" doesn't really affect them. Also, this spray is not meant for frequent use, just on occasion. However, for those whose hair is already in poor condition, it's probably better not to use it.
The spray does lighten hair, BUT it contains hydrogen peroxide, so the color does not wash out and dark roots grow out. Another downside is that at first, the hair has a nice blonde, wheat color, but then it starts to turn yellow and looks like cheap hair dye. In short, it was not easy to get rid of it, I had to dye my hair with another dye to blend the roots, so be careful!!!!
