And for me, they are really cool. I have thick heavy hair. And they hold up great! You just need more than one piece. The more hair we try to secure, the more invisible ones there are (and that's normal). A nice way to crisscross.

The invisible hairpins are just average, not exceptional. If you are tying your hair into a ponytail and want to hide the protruding ends, these hairpins won't work because the ends are visible. By the way, they claim to be made of steel, but the steel is very thin, and the hairpins bend and twist easily.
