One of the most poetic and sensual fragrances from the perfume house of Guerlain is aptly named like a piece of art - L'Heure Bleue. This perfume embodies a warm, even somewhat sultry, summer evening when the sun has just managed to hide behind the horizon, and the air is still filled with its warmth.
The perfume introduces us to its olfactory composition with top notes of spices (anise and coriander) combined with three types of citrus - bergamot, lemon, and neroli. The heart of the fragrance has a complex, multifaceted composition, intertwining the scents of carnation, orchid, jasmine, carnation, neroli, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, and Bulgarian rose. Meanwhile, the base notes have a pronounced woody resonance, consisting of sandalwood, musk, iris, benzoin, vanilla, and vetiver.
This fragrance is categorized under floral scents, and at its heart, indeed, gathers a rich bouquet. However, a powerful woody trail strips it of any carefree freshness, bestowing upon it a certain maturity and solidity. As a result, the scent is not intended for everyday use and will resonate more harmoniously with an elegant evening attire.
It is wonderful. I have a very fresh bottle with a blue sticker, it's just some kind of miracle. For me, it's like some sugary, very textured, powder that is floral, not cosmetic. And it's so complete that I don't even want to break it down into notes. Although at first, when I opened the little bottle, I could definitely feel the carnation, like in cologne, but now the scent has come together and I want to say that it's love. The only thing that disappoints me is its longevity. It lasts for a couple of hours at most. Although I had a bottle of TV before, and even in such concentration, it was much more long-lasting. But maybe it's because the perfume needs to settle. Although I'm afraid that the bottle will run out before that happens)
The perfume is definitely not floral or powdery, it is more of an oriental-vintage scent, perfect for evenings. It is very rich and even a bit heavy. The floral notes are more in the background. This is definitely not an everyday fragrance, but it is pleasant and expensive, suitable for older women for evening wear. I don't regret buying it, but I understand that I won't be using it too often.
Enchanting aroma! I am a big fan of the fragrance house Guerlain, but I only recently became acquainted with this specific scent.
I found nothing in common with Chanel's iconic No. 5, as I have it in my collection and know it well. It does share a resemblance with Insolence by the same brand, but Twilight is much richer.
This fragrance is timeless and transcends eras, surpassing numerous bland and fleeting flankers.
It is long-lasting and has a beautiful trail. Incredibly beautiful!
A very delicate scent with retro notes that sound so beautiful. My daughter mistook it for Chanel No. 5 in its trail. Shalimar and Twilight are my favorite perfumes, I'm ready to inhale them endlessly. A huge thank you to the store for the quality service, affordable prices, and gifts!
Three days ago, I received a perfume water. I blindly ordered it during a promotion, in a 75ml size. The fragrance is exclusive and long-lasting. Just one spritz on clothes lasts for more than three days. It also lingers on hair for a long time. In a room, its scent trail lasts for several hours, but it's not overpowering or irritating. I've never experienced anything like this before, and I really like it. And this is even before it has settled after the journey! Guerlain has impressed me! Thank you to the entire makeup team.
The perfume is good and has a retro feel. There is a resemblance to Chanel No. 5 in the base notes, but not as intense. It has good longevity and leaves a trail. I liked it. I previously bought Mitsouko, but that was a miss. I didn't like it at all. It had a masculine chypre cologne scent with a strong presence of moss.
If you enjoy classic and more complex scents, then most likely you will like it. At first, I didn't quite understand it, but literally within an hour, I "got a taste of it", heard it, and I am very satisfied. I randomly chose it based on expert reviews, but I had never listened to it myself before. The scent is floral and spicy, not light, but more complex, which is exactly what I love. 5 out of 5.
A big thank you to the Makeup team for their prompt delivery during challenging weather conditions and transportation collapse!
The scent is legendary!
Special thanks for the birthday discount!
