Pierre Rene Skin Balance Foundation

I purchased this foundation based on recommendations and advice. Unfortunately, I regretted it after the first use :)

1. The dispenser is not convenient. It is difficult to press, while the foundation itself is quite runny. As a result, the cream simply spills out after pressing. Due to this, it is not easy to use and distribute.

2. I have fair skin. And the 18 shade, which I understood to be the lightest, is simply yellow for me.

3. The coverage for minor imperfections is poor. I do not have problematic skin, but it failed to cover minor flaws and even out the tone.

4. If you have expression lines (especially under the eyes), this product will only emphasize them, as it has a slightly mattifying effect.

I have been using it for several years now. It's the SURE foundation.

I really liked this foundation in shade 21. It applies smoothly and the dispenser is great. The bottle is made of glass, which gives it a luxurious look. It effectively covers skin imperfections.

I really like it. It has a matte finish and adapts to every skin type. I have been using it for over a year and I am satisfied.

The foundation is simply amazing for its price; this is already my third purchase. Shade 18 is perfect for fair skin, and now I also tried shade 20, which also suits me well. It adapts to the skin and previously I had shade 22, which was great for summer tanning as well.

This is an excellent foundation, with a very convenient packaging and dispenser. It applies smoothly and evenly on combination skin, which I really liked.

1. Cool Ivory is not suitable for fair skin. It's more suitable for lightly tanned skin, but not for fair complexions.

2. This is not the kind of foundation that you would happily apply every day. It is very drying and applies poorly even with a damp sponge. In the time that I had it, I only used it twice.

3. I applied a heavy cream, mixed the foundation with a light concealer and the same heavy cream - somehow managed to create my own shade and apply it without streaks. And, guess what, it doesn't cover anything at all, neither in that mixture nor in its regular form without the concealer and cream. And it gives the feeling that the skin becomes even drier.

4. I have sensitive combination skin with dry patches. Not problematic with breakouts. During the first application without mixing it with concealer and cream, my skin turned red and slightly irritated. When I mixed it, it didn't happen. I don't know why.

5. I usually use Lancome and Dior, but I decided to try and save some money. In the end, I believe I wasted my money. It's better to pay more and not use something like this.

The shade 19 cool ivory turned out to be a bit dark for fair skin. Overall, it applies well and would be just right for those with a tan or darker complexion.

The smell is simply horrible, very chemical-like, and the shade 20 is too dark for fair skin. The foundation is mattifying, which makes it unsuitable for dry skin.

It applies to the skin very smoothly, without creating a mask-like effect.
