I opened them carefully to test them out. Well, what can I say? They are definitely powdery, 100 percent. But what kind of powder! It's like grandma's powder. My mom is not a young girl either, but this is not for her. It's specifically for an eccentric grandmother in her 90s with a fan and a monocle. I imagine her in the theater box, and everyone else sitting in the same box, poor things, not knowing where to hide from this overpoweringly old smell. But they have to endure it until the end of the performance.
