I am extremely disappointed, to say the least! I have been ordering and using this foundation for several years now, but my latest order resulted in receiving shade N2 instead of N3. I still have the old packaging from a previous order, which I also purchased here. Overall, the product no longer matches the shade and numbers as it used to.
It works well for the winter season. It effectively conceals imperfections. It does have a noticeable shine. However, the foundation itself has a strong yellow tint on light skin, so I don't use it. I found a foundation with a denser texture, called Ingrid (through makeup), which will be lighter in shade.
The foundation is not bad, it is thick and covers imperfections such as spots and redness. It lasts quite long, around 5-6 hours. However, unfortunately, it tends to clog pores in dry areas. Overall, it is suitable for winter, but it leaves a greasy shine and transfers onto clothes, even staining gel polish (I had a French manicure, it turned yellow French). But if you wear it properly, avoid touching your face and clothes, I would recommend giving it a try.
This lightweight cream evens out the skin tone, but it doesn't fully conceal some issues. It has a neutral scent. The shade 00 is not suitable for fair-skinned individuals as it tends to give a yellowish tint. The finish is slightly dewy, but it's not a major concern. It provides a subtle glow to the skin. Overall, it's excellent for evening out the skin tone considering its price, but if you have more significant concerns, you may need to look for a foundation with better coverage.
First of all, this is not a must-have product; it is just a regular foundation with a sticky base. One of the positives is that it provides good coverage for acne, making it suitable for winter. However, it is not suitable for oily skin unless you are willing to powder it heavily afterwards.
Can you please advise me on which shade would be suitable for me if I have been using Maybelline Affinitone 14?
I have fair skin with a yellow undertone. Duna suits me in terms of color. The camera's color rendering is not great, so from wrist to fingertips, I have tried NYX Stay Matte 01 Ivory (sandy undertone, the lightest shade) - Miyo Dune (jet beige undertone) - Maybelline Fit Me 20 Ivory (yellowish undertone) - BB Biolita (adjusts to skin tone but gives a brown color to the face, like dirt, doesn't conceal anything) - Uriage SPF (only for oily skin, turns into a paste on dry skin, naturally sun-protective, nourishing, and medical).
In summary, NYX mattifies well and is long-lasting. The downside is that it is expensive. Miyo is useless. I have dry skin everywhere, healthy, without any spots, just small freckles. And very dry skin on the nose - it's just dry and shiny. If NYX conceals for at least an hour or two and leaves a matte finish, this miracle product doesn't conceal anything (but leaves an instantly greasy shine). Even if you apply a ton, it will smudge, get into all the pores, emphasize flakiness, and everyone around will be like, "What is that dirt on your nose?"
Additionally, it has a pleasant texture, stretches, and applies evenly. But my dry skin absorbs it immediately, so it didn't work for me, unfortunately. It might smudge on oily skin. I applied it on a makeup base and Nivea moisturizing cream, and the foundation smudged and streaked.
So, if your face is flawless and doesn't need makeup but you want to apply something, it's a decent option.
This is a really good foundation. It has a lightweight texture that doesn't make you look like you're wearing a mask and it applies perfectly. Surprisingly, it has a pleasant price and I have been using it for a long time.
This foundation is quite thick and has good coverage. It can even camouflage freckles and dark circles without the need for concealer. When applied with a brush, it blends out with a slightly thick layer. However, when applied this way, it tends to settle into fine lines under the eyes after a few hours. After 6 hours of wear, it has almost disappeared from the lower half of the face and about half of it remains on the forehead. If applied with fingers, it goes on with a thinner layer but still provides good coverage. It also settles less into wrinkles and lasts longer when applied with fingers. For summer, something lighter might be needed, but for colder seasons, it is suitable for those who have something to conceal. Considering its price, it is a very good option.
This foundation is quite thick. It does a great job of concealing freckles and dark circles without the need for concealer. When applied with a brush, it doesn't blend very well and appears heavier. With this application method, it tends to settle into the fine lines under the eyes after a few hours, around 6 hours after application on the lower face.
My favorite! The texture is fine, and it perfectly evens out the color.
I didn't expect anything special, but the cream pleasantly surprised me. It applies smoothly and evens out the skin tone, concealing minor imperfections. Considering its price range, it's actually quite good.
Overall, it's not bad, it lasts long, but after just an hour my skin starts to shine terribly...
The cream is average. If you have problematic skin, it will work well for you. However, it's not suitable for me as I do not need a heavy cream.
The foundation applies evenly and does not create a mask-like effect on the face. However, this product did not work for me. After applying it, a terrible itching sensation starts.
The foundation simply amazed me, I wasn't expecting it.
I have combination skin with breakouts. The cream doesn't clog pores and doesn't make my face shiny.
However, it doesn't completely hide all imperfections, but I'm thrilled! Thank you.
