I have been using this hair dye for the past 6 years. I only have a few gray hairs scattered on my head. I always choose natural colors from the sixth row. When my hair grows, you can't visually see the difference, so I dye it every 2-3 months. I used OXY 6% for many years, even when I didn't have gray hair. Now I have tried mixing it 1:1 with 3%, which gives me a 4.5% solution. This way, my hair gets less damaged and the dye applies nicely. I leave it on for 40-45 minutes.

This is a good paint. I'm giving it 4 stars for now because I've only used it once and I don't know how it will hold up in the long run. I switched to 4n Matrix Socolor 4n, which is no longer available in any stores. Compared to Matrix, this one has less pigment. It covered 3% of my gray hair. But I always use a deep cleanser before dyeing and leave the dye on for 60 minutes with this developer. 30 ml of dye and 30 ml of developer were enough for my roots.

I bought the 8GB variant. I used a 6% developer with it. The consistency of the dye is thick. The color does not fade, it is very beautiful, rich, and natural! I got exactly what I wanted! Now I want to stick with it. The only downside is that it doesn't cover gray hair well. For this reason, I deduct one star.

The paint is just okay. The price is absolutely insane, especially considering that the paint doesn't hold on to the hair any better than ones that are three times cheaper. It's disappointing that there is no developer in small quantities - I bought a big bottle and can't get rid of it, even though it would have been easier to throw away the leftover developer with the money I spent on this paint. The hair feels like a sponge after using the paint, which is unpleasant. I used to dye my hair with Russian Estel before this, so I'll probably go back to it. It doesn't wash out as much, and the hair is wonderful, soft, and smooth after using it. It also doesn't smell as horribly of ammonia as the praised Goldwell.
I tried 11P and 11V with 6%, and for a cool blonde shade one tone darker than 11P gives a violet "grayness" after coloring, but after a couple of oil masks and hair washes, it leaves a very beautiful cool blonde. 11V immediately gives a nice color without any dull tones, but it washes out to an unpleasant yellow over time, so you have to choose what's more convenient: washing it out to the desired shade or enduring a bad color afterwards.

5NA is a dark cool brunette that completely covers gray hair. However, with repeated use, it turns into a true brunette, almost like raven's wing.
5MP is a brunette with a pearly sheen that effectively disguises gray hair. It is the perfect shade for men - it doesn't completely cover gray hair, but it also doesn't give a reddish tint. It creates the impression that a man with brown hair has just started to gray, with a slight silvering at the temples.
When alternating between these two shades, you stay in the dark cool brunette range, but with slightly different color nuances.
5MBP (not available on this website) is a shade with a barely noticeable pinkish undertone.
I will supplement my review from July 17, 2016. The hair dye initially restores the hair, but after six months, the hair started to break like straw. The hairdresser said that this dye has a cumulative effect and should not be used constantly. Therefore, the dye is good as a restorative method, periodically. However, this is the case with any professional product. It is a pity that the manufacturer does not indicate this.
After several months of use, the quality of my hair has improved. It's not a "wow" effect, but I hope for further improvement. It effectively covers my gray hair. I touch up my roots once a month. Matrix falls short compared to this hair dye in every aspect.
