Rochas Eau De Rochas eau de toilette is a classic of the chypre fragrance family, with a slight citrus-fougère mood. This product was launched by the French brand Rochas back in 1970, and since then, its captivating scent has attracted an ever-growing number of aficionados. These women's perfumes can serve as a delightful surprise gift for many connoisseurs of classic women's fragrances, reviving warm memories of the past with their scent.
The Rochas Eau De Rochas bottle is designed in the shape of a piece of rock crystal, whose intricate pattern is meant to evoke the swift flow of a mountain stream. The fragrance's composition blends fruity notes, floral scents, and exotic spicy fragrances. The base note features amber and musk, stirring waves of passion in the soul of the Rochas Eau De Rochas perfume wearer, which are anchored by the enduring notes of oakmoss and sandalwood. Rochas Eau De Rochas is for the true connoisseurs of French fragrances for women.
The scent is simply stunning, but it's best for warm weather and when it's windy – that's when it truly blossoms, resonating with a bright, slightly prickly metallic undertone.
I bought it based on the description and I made the right choice. It suits me better for the winter period.
Perfumes for hot weather! With a refreshing sensation of water, purity, and freshness, even when the temperature rises above 25 degrees Celsius. However, if the temperature drops below 20-22 degrees, a dry bitterness might appear. These fragrances are long-lasting.
"C" - Citrus. In the summer, it's refreshing, crisp, and cool. Now, in the first decade of November, it's like a harbinger of the not yet quite close New Year, but like a promise that everything will be okay.
Everything will be fine.
I ordered Eau de Rochas for myself on my last birthday because it was the 50th anniversary of this fragrance. I also really wanted something in a beautiful and memorable bottle. Additionally, I happened to see a TV show about Galina Ulanova the day before. Her students and those who saw her on stage talked about how she was a ballet goddess, how her dance was enchanting, and how she loved to dress elegantly, preferably in costumes that were given to her by leading fashion designers in Paris and London. However, she was completely indifferent to perfumes; she received many expensive and fashionable ones as gifts, but she sincerely thanked and re-gifted them because she loved nature and believed that nothing could compare to natural scents that perfumers were unable to recreate. However, in 1970, she came across the newly released Rochas Eau de Rochas and fell in love with it. She loved everything about it, from the bottle that resembled mountain crystal and the frosty patterns on the glass to the transparent mountain stream and the delicate scent of awakening nature. Since then, she only brought Eau de Rochas from all her tours. And even now, in the bathroom of her museum apartment, there is a bottle of the same perfume with remnants. That's how I wanted to touch the legend, and that's how I made my choice. Of course, I understand that all fragrances have been reformulated since then, but this one still sounds magical and unique. Yes, and the order arrived on my birthday, thanks to the Makeup team!
The scent is classic, timeless. The only fragrance that conquered the famous Galina Ulanova. I first heard it from my mother in childhood, but it stayed in my olfactory memory forever, so I decided to order it for myself. It's the perfect everyday scent, aristocratically standing out among the modern dominance of eastern sweetness and oud, sugary fruits, gourmand notes, and vanilla. Crystal clear, cool, and slightly dry. It starts off mossy with citrus notes. It might be a bit bitter for some, and may seem too retro, but it definitely doesn't smell like grandma's trunk. It sits close to the skin, so don't expect a big sillage. The longevity is moderate. It's a unisex fragrance.
